Floyd E. Clawson, 84 of Allegan, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at his daughter's home in Hamilton. Mr. Clawson was born February 17, 1919 in Monterey Township, MI the son of Frank and Hattie (Draper) Clawson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post #89. He was a lifelong farmer. Surviving are four children, David & Mildred Gwilliams, Michael Gwilliams, Vicki & David Piirtola, Linda & Michael Harvey; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian and a brother, Raymond. The famiy will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Township under the auspices of the American Legion Post #89 and the Otsego VFW Post #3030. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
