of Allegan. Died Friday, December 16, 2011. Age 76 years. He was born July 28, 1935, the son of the late Fay Franklin Brewster Sr. and Alma Kathryn (Gren) Brewster. He graduated from Otsego High School. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Allegan. He worked as a machinist for Rockwell International. He belonged to the Eagles and Elks lodges. Fay enjoyed golfing, bowling, motorcycling, hunting and coin collecting. He was married to Barbara Canfield in 1955; she survives him. Surviving besides his wife are his son, Fay (Glenda) Brewster III of Martin; three daughters, Darcy (Bill Jr.) Rook of Martin, Kelly Larsen of Allegan and Lisa (Thomas) Star of Zeeland; nine grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Rosalyn London of Plainwell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Brewster; and a sister, Betty Pion. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Stover will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Wings Home.
