Allegan,MI, died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Truax was born July 7, 1921 in Allegan, the daughter of Herman & Mayme (Menzies) Keene. She worked for Perrigo more than 20 years, retiring in 1983. Surviving are 3 children & their spouses, Pat & Carl Schanz, Sharon & Gary Austin and Jim & Sue Clawson all of Allegan; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 brother, William Keene of Allegan; 1 sister and her husband, Hazel & George Pearson of Plainwell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, and a brother,Ted. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Interment Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
