Evelyn L. Funk, 91 of Allegan, died Thursday, April 4, 2002 at Laurels of Sandy Creek. Mrs. Funk was born May 20, 1910 in Burnips, MI the daughter of Joseph and Lucy (Fleser) Goodman. Surviving are 1 son and his wife, Richard and Dorothy Funk of Hopkins, 2 daughters-in-law , Diane Funk of Missouri and Tena Funk of Allegan, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Pete" in 1979, 2 sons, Larry and Ken, 2 sisters, Erma Herp and Florence Funk, and several half brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor Kenneth Reeves officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Township.
