Allegan, Michigan, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Dombos was born June 12, 1924 in Mattawan, MI, the daughter of Willard and Jemima (Carr) Pierce. She held several jobs over her lifetime, including driving a semi-truck. She loved animals, watching movies and playing video games. Surviving are 2 children, Rania (Tony) Caldarona and Alfred Dombos, all of Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Brandy Delor of Allegan, Billy Jo Ruthruff of Grand Rapids, Elizabeth Ruthruff of Holland, and Bradley Caldarona of Allegan; 4 great-grandchildren, Tommy, Brooklyn, Zachary and Hannah; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, and 2 sisters, Viola Thomas and Ruth Ashbrook. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Gary Wales officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church.
