Ethel L. Martindale, 82 of Allegan, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Martindale was born June 18, 1923 in Allegan, MI the daughter of Denie and Jessie (Robinson) Warner. She was a member of Allegan Bible Church, Otsego VFW Post 3030 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies Relief Corp. Surviving are 3 daughters, Laura & Robert Dalrymple of Otsego, Janette "Dale" Patterson of Allegan, Char Dias Green & Jim Green of Allegan; 1 stepdaughter, Diane & John "Buff" Rogers of Caledonia; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, 1 grandson, 1 sister and 3 brothers. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor Robert Cosby officiating. Private family interment at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Hope Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Metron of Allegan.
