Esther L. Teed, 79 of Monterey Twp., Allegan, died Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Borgess-Pipp Health Center, Plainwell. Mrs. Teed was born April 15, 1924 the daughter of Charles and Helen (Moeller) Grusczynski. Known to many as Aunt Esther, she was a very kind and gracious person, very proud of her family and heritage. She loved nature and wildlife and working on the farm. She loved Monterey Township, the history of it and the people in it. Surviving are her husband, Howard "Bud", many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Mr. Comer Skinner officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
