Hopkins, MI, died Sunday, May 13, 2007. Mrs. Selby was born June 27, 1921 in Salem Twp., the daughter of Pearl and Emma (Strickfaden) Goodman. She was a member of the Salem Indian Mission. Surviving are 1 daughter, Cheryl Selby of Hopkins; 1 brother, 'Junior' and Yvonne Goodman of Burnips; 2 sisters, Ethel and Grayson Warren of Hamilton and Donna Wicks of Hopkins; 2 sisters-in-law, Emily Goodman of Dorr and Darlene Goodman of Iowa; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest "Bud", 2 brothers, Lester and Clare Goodman; 3 sisters, Eleanor VanderKolk, Irene Selby and Velma Jager. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service at 12 noon Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Pastor Sandra VandenBrink officiating. Interment Salem Twp. Cemetery, Burnips. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
