Allegan, MI, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Allegan Co. Medical Care Facility, Allegan Twp. Mrs. Philpott was born April 1, 1914 in Utica, MI, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Keding) Maas. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Allegan for 25 years. Surviving are 3 children and their spouses, Dennis and Janice Philpott of Cheboygan, Gary and Karen Philpott of Byron and Diane and Ron Eichinger of Allegan; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 sister and her husband, Norma and Glenn Lown of Sterling Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1980 and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Ron Bessert officiating. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, MI at 12 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Roof Fund.
