age 84, of Hopkins, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at her home. She was born May 10, 1929, in Hopkins, the daughter of Charles and Golda (Packer) Hoerner. Esther was a longtime member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Altar Society for many years. Esther is survived by her six children: Leo (Shirley) Hilaski, Gary Hilaski, Diane Hilaski, Mark (Kathy) Hilaski, Karen (Lyle) Thompson, Philip (Dawn) Hilaski; her fourteen grandchildren: Jeff, Julie, John, Karolynn, Kristopher, Jamie, Ashley, Brandon, Jena, Brett, Tara, Holly, Rachel, Trevor; her seven great-grandchildren: Christian, Devin, Avery, Alyssa, Kayla, Levi, Lily; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley "Steamer", her brother Leonard Hoerner, and her sister Evelyn Hoerner. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 5-8:00 P.M., with the Rosary at 5:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, Dorr at 11:00 A.M. Celebrant is The Reverend Harry Potter. Interment is at St Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
