of Allegan, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center in Kalamazoo. Estelle was born in Detroit, the daughter of Casmere and Agnes (Aniol) Dziekan. Estelle was a homemaker and loved tending to her family. Her family knew her well for being very spunky. She was also known for her love of animals, especially cats. Estelle never let a man or animal go hungry on her watch. She gave a new meaning to "shop until you drop". Estelle is survived by her children: Marcia (Jim) Connell, Robert P. (Kathy) Diem, Gregory J. (Diane) Diem; her five Grandchildren: Robert E. (Miki) Diem, Ryan E. (Julie) Diem, Ian O. Diem, Renee Swenson, Kari (Shay) Butler; her seven Great-grandchildren: Chance, Cade, Joshua, Madison, Ashlyn, Luke, and Zach. Estelle is preceded in death by her Husband Robert Diem; five Sisters and two Brothers. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 25, 2012 from 1-3 P.M., at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. The Funeral Mass will follow at 4:00 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Father Jorgensen will officiate.
