of Allegan, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Timmerman was born April 17, 1922, in Hopkins, the daughter of Henry and Elfreida (Piischel) Schaffer. She was a member of the Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are her 4 children; Martha Thompson, Robert and Melodie Dobbins, Nancy and Wayne Hall, Jessica and Bill Cronkhite, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, her brother, Milton Schaffer, her sister, Emma Essenburgh, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Timmerman, and several brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 1-2 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Pastor Tom Hubbard will officiate. Interment at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Community, or Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church.
