Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Christman was born May 8, 1939 in Allegan, the daughter of Thomas and Vida (Greeno) Gable. She had been employed at the Allegan Co. F.I.A., and had also worked at Perrigos, Imperial Carving, and Allegan Glass Co. Surviving are her husband, Robert, whom she married June 20, 1981; 6 children and their spouses, Lorraine and Donald Stough of Holland, Robert and Judy Frost of Plainwell, Thomas and Dawn Frost of Arizona, Debbie and Maurice Hicks of Allegan, Tim Frost of Otsego, and Lester and Alisha Lowe of Gobles; 19 grandchildren, Eve, Emily, Jason, Andrew, Heather, Ray, Shelly, Autumn, Charity, Tommy, Megan, Lisa, Melissa, Jenny, Chris, C.J., Jessie, Zack and Hailey; 12 great grandchildren, Brittany, Sabrina, Jared, Haley, Madison, Kennedy, Elijah, Kalvin, Tyler, Teagan, Tray, and Trevor; 3 sisters, Betty Hewitt of Allegan, Barbara Eberhard of Irons, and Darlene Walaszewski of Fennville; many nieces and nephews; very dear and special friend, Wanda Scofield. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Allen, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Herb Curry officiating.
