Allegan, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 in Kalamazoo. Mrs. Caris was born May 6, 1931 in Plainwell, the daughter of Leon and Nellie (Sliter) Hofacker. Surviving are her 2 children, Dan Earle and Darlene and Richard Krotz all of Allegan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Earle. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 am at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Pastor Paul Hays will officiate. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
