JOHNSON, Ella L., Allegan, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2002 at Bronson Methodist Hospital after a short illness. Ella was born on August 7, 1950 in Allegan, the daughter of Robert & Robenia (Burson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Allegan High School Class of 1969. Ella enjoyed walking and spending time with her brother Pete and his family as well as her great nieces and nephews, she had a warm heart and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her 2 brothers; Jurien "Pete" & Alice Johnson and James Johnson all of Allegan; 5 sisters, Edna Peak of Kalamazoo, Ethel White, Mary, Martha & Alice Johnson all of Allegan. 3 nieces; Sarah Johnson, Amanda Johnson & Sonya White; 5 nephews; Troy, Henry, Eric & Jacob Johnson and Dwain Peak. Ella also had 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces whom she loved very much, Dillyn, Marissa, Zeke, Emily & Lukas and many friends & relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother & father, 1 brother R.B. Johnson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am. Pastor Jeremiah Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan, Michigan.
