Allegan, MI, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Brown was born December 13, 1932 in Plainwell, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Roomsburg) Horton. She graduated from Allegan High School in 1951 and on February 2, 1952, she married Donald, who survives. She worked for almost 30 years with the drug stores in Allegan, Robson's, Liperts and then Rite-Aid. She also was involved with the Allegan Twp. Election Board and worked for several years with the Allegan County Fair in the front office. Also surviving are 2 sons and their wives, Larry and Jennifer Brown and Ricky and Teresa Brown, all of Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Jamie and Eric Wine, Lisa and Daniel Morse and Jared Brown; 2 great grandsons, Layton Brown and Samuel Morse; 1 sister, Sylvia McKeown of Otsego; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Donald, 3 brothers, Charles, her twin, Elbert, and Robert. Friends may meet with the family Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor James Davis officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorials may be made to the Merson Church Youth Ministries or Wings of Hope Hospice.
