With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eleanor Mae (Clawson) Milhiem on April 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. Eleanor was born at home in Hopkins, Michigan, on July 26, 1932, to her parents Leonard and Sophia (Nowakowski) Clawson. She would marry Kenneth Milhiem Jr. and share over 62 faithful years of marriage together. Eleanor loved golfing, playing bingo, crocheting, and social hours at Village Inn during breakfast time. She was also a loyal supporter of her grandchildren in all of their sporting events. Eleanor also cherished her daily phone call visits with her best friend Dorothy Wilson until her passing last year. She is dearly missed and a bright light to all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Keith Milhiem, Bruce (Sharon) Milhiem, and Christine Milhiem; siblings Norma Wright and Delores Harris; grandchildren Brent (Cari) Milhiem, and Amber Venderville; great-grandchildren Addison Milhiem, Caden Milhiem, Lucas Milhiem, Kennadi Milhiem, and Elliott Vendeville.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Sophia (Nowakowski) Clawson; siblings Raymond Clawson and Irene Davis; best friend Dorothy Wilson; dog Princess and cat Lola.

Eleanor's funeral service will be at 12:00pm with an hour visitation beforehand on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, 528 Trowbridge Street, Allegan MI, 49010. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
