Allegan, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in Allegan. Elaine was born August 7, 1939, in Munising, the daughter of Alfred and Elnor (Lucier) Sharron. She graduated from Munising High School. She was known as the "Qween Mum" in the Red Hatters groups she was involved with, both in Allegan and Florida. She and her husband, Gene spent many winters together in Mexico and Florida. Surviving are her husband, Gene of 38 years, 4 children, Deb and Tim Adamczyk of Allegan, Craig Jackson of Otsego, Tammy and Dave Zoerhoff of FL and Chip and Teresa Snyder of Plainwell, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Dan and Gail Sharron of TX, 1 sister, Kathy and Ernie Morgan of Allegan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dick and Legal. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 am. Pastor G. Patrick White will officiate. Interment will be in Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice.
