Allegan,MI, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Martin was born September 30, 1937 in Wayland, the daughter of Hosimer & Ella Belle (Roelefson) Parks. She was a member of the Friendship Bible Church in Hopkins and had attended the Allegan Bible Church for many years. Elaine had worked for the Allegan Public School system for over 24 years and also was the owner and operator of Kings Kids Daycare and Tendercare for over 20 years. Surviving are Clifford Martin; 8 children, Karen & Rick Gibson of Allegan, Larry & Denise Button of Gobles, Cheryl Smith of Allegan, Kelly Perkkio of Vendalia, Brian Button of Allegan, Dawn & Ken Parker of Hamilton, Jay & Gaye Brennan of Allegan and Shawn Brennan of Otsego; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Ozzie & Ruth Parks of Mendon, Terry Parks of Montana, Robert & Judy Parks of Canada, Steven & Melody Parks of California; 1 sister, Patricia DeLoy of Grand Rapids; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Lawrence Button, Jack Brennan, and Ron Genther, 1 son, Richard, and 3 brothers, Jim, Lamont & Louis. Friends may meet with the family Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Allegan Bible Church. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Friendship Bible Church in Hopkins.
