Edward Adams, 81 of Allegan, MI died Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Spectrum Health - Butterworth Campus. Mr. Adams was born January 3, 1923 in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Augustus and Ella (Kreuger) Dams. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army as a medic. He had retired from Thor Tool in Aurora, IL in 1987 and had been attending Trowbridge United Methodist Church of Otsego, MI. Surviving are his wife, Juanita of Montgomery, IL; 5 children, Linda & Fred Davidson of Oswego, IL, David Bartosh of Kaneland, IL, Camilla & Ken VanSickle of Rolling Meadows, IL, Debbie & Jim Sullivan of Yorkville, IL, Tina & Ted Watson of Oswego, IL; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Robert & Joann Dahms of Reinback, IA, Clarence & Shirley Steggall of Decorah, IA, Jerry & Bobbi Steggall of Bakersfield, CA; 4 sisters, Lonney Chavieler of Hudson, IA, Marian & Leonard Jensen of Utah, Lois & Jerry Olson of Waterloo, IA, Jeanna Stearns of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Edwin. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am. Pastors Gary Wales and Ray Sundell officiating. Interment Trowbridge Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church Building Fund.
