Hopkins, MI, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003. Mrs. Schraeder was born Sept. 16, 1912 in Salem Twp., MI, the daughter of Norman and Nina (Hall) Loew. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hopkins. Surviving are 3 sons, Dale "Red" and Dorothy Schraeder of North Carolina, Kenneth Schraeder of Hopkins and Duane and Carolyn Schraeder of Quincy; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Paul and Mary Earl of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, daughter, Joyce Earl, grandson, Ken, granddaughter, Brenda, and sister, Lucille Parish. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Pastor Donald W. Seelhoff officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
