Dorothy M. Thompson, 82 of Allegan, died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Thompson was born June 27, 1922 in Otsego, MI the daughter of Dorr and Lulu (Bronson) Wiley. Her family was very important to her and she was a great mom and loving grandmother. She is survived by her companion of many years, Ben Arlington, whom she enjoyed traveling with; 4 children, Nancy & Lauren Taylor of Kalamazoo, Raymond Thompson & Dottie Kaiser of Portage, Bonnie Thompson of Gobles, Patty Martina of Union City; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill Wiley of Allegan, Bob & Mary Wiley of Kalamazoo; 1 sister, Charlene Salisbury of Plainwell; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dean Beckwith officiating. Interment Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Metron of Allegan.
