Hopkins, MI, died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born July 13, 1921 in New Troy, MI, the daughter of Arthur J. and Beatrice I. (Sowersby) Pearson. She had been a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Wayland and later the Allegan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are 1 brother and his wife, Kenneth and Nerma Pearson of Parchment; 1 sister, Zelma Clark of Manistee; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 20, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 280 102nd Ave., Plainwell. Mr. Terry Johnson officiating.
