Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Golden Acres Assisted Living, Fennville. Mrs. Perrigo was born December 15, 1913 in Oto, Iowa, the daughter of Elbert and Nettie Belle (Cook) Miller. She moved to Allegan with her family when she was five and graduated from Allegan High School in 1932. She married R. Blake Perrigo in 1933 and they were married for 62 years when he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a lifetime member of the Allegan First Presbyterian Church where she was active in women's work and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also active in Brownies and Girl Scouts and was an avid reader, loved music, and most of all enjoyed her family. She moved to Golden Acres in August, 2002, where she was lovingly cared for by their wonderful staff. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are 3 children and their spouses, Kay and Jerry Bollinger, Bink and Marguerite Perrigo and Ann Perrigo and Ed Spicer, all of Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Tim and Traci Perrigo, Max Spicer, Penni Spicer, and Deborah Bollinger and her spouse, Ron Cone; 2 great grandchildren, Sarah and Thomas Perrigo; 1 sister, Ruth Berkin of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Joseph Phipps officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Following the service at the cemetery, a time of fellowship and visiting will be held at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the Allegan Public Library.
