Watson Twp., Allegan, MI, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Krotz was born December 7, 1928 in Monterey Twp., the daughter of George and Grace (Gates) Krause. She was a 1947 graduate of Allegan High School and had been employed at the Defense Supply Agency in Grand Rapids for 32 years, retiring in 1984. Surviving are 1 daughter, Melissa and Mike Miller of Allegan; 1 grandson, Christopher Krotz, 1 step granddaughter, Becki Carey; 1 sister, Doris and Richard Schmidtman of Middleville. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, daughter, Karen Krotz, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Jack, Lee, Lyle, Goldie and Lillian. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. Pastor Don Hendrick officiating. Interment Salem Twp. Cemetery, Salem Twp., MI.
