of Allegan, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Dorothy was born February 12, 1934, in Allegan, the daughter of William and Blanche (Thompson) Calloway. She graduated from Allegan High School in 1952 and worked for H.J.Heinz in Holland, for over 35 years. Surviving are her husband, Joe, 4 children, Bill and Linda Damber of Florida, Judy Kaylor, Joan and Steven Gillette and Eddie and Trudy Damber all of Allegan, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Carl and Hilda Calloway of Texas, 1 sister, Mary Simmons of Allegan, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
