Doris Ruth Nordquist, Allegan, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Nordquist was born February 14, 1928 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Clarence & Florence (Carlstrom) Heinen. She graduated from Fennville High School in 1945. On June 5 , 1948 she married Clarence in Fennville at her parent's farm. Doris and Clarence worked together for many years on their hog farm, they also enjoyed many miles of riding snowmobiles across Michigan. She also worked at Rockwell for more than 10 years. Surviving are her husband, Clarence; her adopted daughter, Debra Price of Texas; 2 grandchildren, Deanna Harrington and Dawn Billings; 6 great grandchildren; sister, June Andrews of Florida; sister-in-law, Gladys Schultz; several nieces & nephews. Friends may meet with the family Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel,where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor Gail Pike officiating.
