Donna June Armstrong (Billings)

Donna June Armstrong (Billings), age 85, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, in Plainwell, MI. Born on February 5, 1939, in Allegan, MI, she was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her.

Donna's life was marked by her passion for the simple pleasures. She enjoyed going out to hunt morel mushrooms, quilting, and reading. Her love for playing cards was only matched by the warmth she extended to visitors; her home was always filled with laughter and conversation. Donna cherished the role of caregiver, often babysitting her nieces and nephews, and she shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Ladybug.

She leaves behind her sister, Barbara Knarian, and her adored grandchild, Malaya Bruce and son in law, Tom Bruce. Donna was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Armstrong, her daughter, June Ann Bruce, and her siblings, Alice Armstrong, Elaine Hiscock, Russell Billings, and John Billings.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness. Her legacy of warmth and caring will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.

The family will be having a graveside service at Mallory Cemetery on November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
