Webster, NY, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 in New York. Mr. Wood was born December 16, 1918 in Allegan, the son of Edward and Alice (Humphrey) Wood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp, serving during WWII. He had been employed at Rockwell Int'l for many years and had been an active member of the Allegan First Baptist Church. He moved to New York in the 1960's. Surviving are his wife, Elaine (Merchant); 1 daughter, Cheryl Wood; 1 son and his wife, Wayne and Linda Wood; grandchildren, Andrew, Lori and Alice. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 19, at11:30 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Pastor Greg Carlson officiating. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
