of Martin, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the Life Care Center in Plainwell. Mr. Rambadt was born June 25, 1925, in Allegan, the son of Donald and Wilma (Miner) Rambadt. Keith was a Veteran of the United States Marines, having served during WWII. He worked for over 48 years in the Meat Dept., at Boysen's Grocery in Martin, and was a volunteer fireman in Martin for over 60 years, and served as Chief of 15 years. He loved to spend time in the Upper Peninsula, hunting, fishing, and traveling the back roads. Surviving are his 4 children, Donald and Anita Rambadt of Martin, Cheryl and Gerrit Tuinstra of Plainwell, Diane and Ron Katje of Allegan, and Patricia and Mark Vickery of Gobles, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and his brother, Robert. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm at the Martin United Methodist Church. Pastor David Selleck will officiate. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Otsego VFW Post 3030 at South Martin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wayland Ambulance or Martin United Methodist Church.
