Allegan, MI, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo. Mr. Priest was born November 17, 1917 in Allegan, the son of Roy H. & Dora A. (Sebright) Priest. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson Twp. He loved farming and had worked for Mead Paper Company in Otsego for more than 20 years. Surviving are his wife Eleanor (Brown); 6 children, Richard & Nancy Priest of Kalamazoo, Ronald & Margaret Priest of Martin, Melody & Ron Gordon of Wisconsin, Kenneth & Mary Knuth of Jamestown, Nancy & Roger Hilaski of Vicksburg and Daniel & Ginjah Knuth of Allegan; 24 grandchildren; 41 great- grandchildren; 8 great-great- grandchildren; 1 sister Lillian Richardson of Allegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife Myrna, 1 grandson, Brian, brother, Howard, and sister, Wilma Evink. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
