Donald "Bud" Ochampaugh, Allegan, MI, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at his home. Mr. Ochampaugh was born November 29, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the son of Halsey & Helen (Hoppenrath) Ochampaugh. He graduated from Allegan High School in 1947, and worked for Consumers Power for more than 23 years. Surviving are his wife, Doris (Woolf), 4 children, Diane Martin of Las Vegas, NV, Debra & Gary Gilliam of Zeeland, Douglas Ochampaugh of Holland, and Devon Pollock of Fennville; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Helen Funk of Allegan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm.
