Donald E. Laws, 93 of Allegan, died Monday, August 29, 2005 at Stanford Lodge, Plainwell. Mr. Laws was born July 24, 1912 in Allegan, MI the son of Frank and Elma (Lawton) Laws. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the American Legion Post #89 and the Disabled American Veterans Post in Holland. He worked at Rockwell Int. for 27 years retiring in 1977. Surviving are 2 children and their spouses, Charlotte & Clarence Morrison of Knoxville, TN and Frank & Kathryn Laws of Portage; 1 grandson, Aaron Morrison of San Francisco, CA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor in 1976, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and a special friend, Avis Kaylor. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Mr. Jack Steinberg officiating.
