Allegan Twp., Michigan died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mr. Kerber was born July 15, 1942, in Grand Rapids, the son of John and Nellie (Lynn) Kerber. He had been employed at Perrigo's/J. H. Henry Packaging for 34 years, retiring in 2003. He loved to hunt deer and was the camp cook. Surviving are his wife, Donna; 2 children, Jerrie and Mike DuCharme of Grand Junction and Roger Kerber of Wayland; 5 stepchildren, Criss and Al Maynard of Gobles, Bill and Ginny Ball of Allegan, Tim and Melissa Ball of Indiana, Tammy and Ed Claxton of Florida and J.R. and Amy Goodrich, Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Danelle, Kelly, Brittney, and Cody; 17 step- grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ida Brown of Kalamazoo; 2 brothers, Steve and Elaine Kerber of Grandville and Terry and Mary Kerber of Wayland; 1 sister, Jan and Paul Lodenstein of Allegan; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorotha and 1 brother, Duane. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Robert Linstrom officiating.
