Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Saturday, July 6, 2002 at his home. Mr. Dyer was born July 3, 1939 in Holland, the son of Owen and Avis (Thorpe) Dyer. He was a member of the Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church. He had been employed for many years at Baker Furniture in Holland and had also farmed for several years and enjoyed tractor pulls. Surviving are 1 sister and her husband, Donna and Gary Clark of Birch Run; 1 nephew, Craig Clark of Millington; several cousins. Friends may meet with the family from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Justin Childers officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
