Donald J. Bos, aged 84, of Wayland passed away on June 29, 2018. Son of Herman and Tracy (Schepel) Bos, he was born and raised in Holland, resided in Grand Rapids for 20 years and moved to Wayland in 1972 where he owned and operated a business. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Nancy (Freeland) Bos; his five children and their partners Don and Alicia (Marquez) Bos of Austin (TX), Sandra and Brian Larsen of Wayland, Michael and Dawn (Kerley) Bos of Wayland, Cathy Bos and Ruth Terpstra near Hopkins, and Mary and Rob Griffith of Wayland Township; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six nieces and nephews and his sister Beverly (Bos) Harper of Holland. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Interment in Rest Lawn Cemetery, 3448 Eastern Ave., Grand Rapids will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
