of Allegan, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming. Mr. Vick was born April 11, 1941, in Detroit, the son of Leonard and Blanche (Lynch) Vick. Doug worked for the City of Holland with the Board of Public Works for over 20 years. Surviving are his 6 children: Ken, Carrie and Jerry, Jim and Kim, Leonard and Val, John and Maria, Michael and Jill; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Gloria, 2 brothers: Ken and Allen; his sister: Diane. A Memorial service for both Doug and his wife Gloria, will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 5 pm, at Deano's Pizza and Ice Cream, 1604 Lincoln Rd., Allegan, MI. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
