Allegan, MI, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at St. Mary's Mercy Medical Center, Grand Rapids. Mr. Nash was born October 25, 1944 in Elkhart, IN, the son of Victor and Shirley (Smith) Nash. He had been employed as a supervisor for Supportive Independent Living in Allegan for the past 6 years. Surviving are his partner of 18 years, Maria Germain; 4 children, Kent and Loranne Nash, and Shelly Nash all of Indiana, Christopher Nash of Allegan and Danielle Coppick of Coldwater; 2 stepchildren, Jamie Germain and Mike Plumley, and Zach Germain, all of Allegan; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, James and Kathy Elmer of Grand Rapids; 3 sisters, Linda and Jerry Johnson of Washington, Lana Boldi of Grand Rapids, and Sally and Bob Hatfield of Taylor; several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. G. Patrick White officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to Supportive Independent Living.
