age 69, of Allegan, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at her home. She was born October 21, 1944 in Allegan, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert and Beatrice (Walker) Wendt. Delores loved working in her garden. She enjoyed taking walks in the woods and working on her property. She also enjoyed crosswords and reading as well as puzzles in the winter months when she couldn't be outside. Most of all, she loved her family. Delores will be deeply missed. She is survived by her beloved husband Terry; her children: Marcie (Jim) Fredricks, Angela (Jim) Scudder, Christopher Blacklock; her grandchildren: Marshall, Justin, Chloe, Kori, Alison, Emily; her great-grandchild Isaiah; her brothers: Jim (Judy) Wendt, and Alan (Kelly) Wendt. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Fred Wendt. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. The Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 30, 2014 also at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. The Reverend Tom Toeller-Novak will be officiating.
