Allegan Twp., MI, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Copeland was born April 8, 1940 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Bailey) Wright. She had been employed at Flexible Furniture in Plainwell for 28 years, retiring in 2006. Surviving are her companion of 20 years, Don Shears; 3 children, Bobby Copeland of Kalamazoo, Ruth and Kevin Norton of Grand Rapids and Debbie Werner of Otsego; 4 grandchildren, Travis, James, Justin and Alex; 1 great grandchild, Madison; 1 brother, Harold Wright of Delton; 1 sister, Louise and Wiley Boulding of Kalamazoo; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin, and 2 brothers, Ron and Butch. Memorial graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell. Pastor Al Lambert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
