Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in Arizona. Mr. Hobbs was born Oct. 2, 1943 in Plainview, Texas. He had been employed at the Allegan County Road Commission for 25 years, retiring in 2003. Surviving are his wife, Ann; 2 children, Allan Hobbs of Virginia and Tamara and Tim Prucha of California; 2 stepchildren, Lori and Jim Evans of Allegan and Karen and Robert Bauer of New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Barbara "Bobbi" and Harold Morgan of Allegan, Opal Myatt and Corky Thomas, both of California; and his dog, Buffy. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Dean Beckwith officiating.
