Allegan, MI, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Dean was born April 9, 1936 in Allegan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo "Lon" and Martha (Brenner) Miller, his son, Gregory C. Miller, and brothers, Donald C. and Max Miller and his in-laws, John and Blanche Williams. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sally (Williams), whom he married Aug. 2, 1954 in Allegan; daughter, Sarah and Al Henry of Pine Lake, and son, Tom and Erica Miller of Allegan; 4 grandchildren, Michael 'Mac' and Molly Warner and Madeline and Adam Miller, 2 sisters, Doris and Carl Fuller of Allegan and Lorna and Chuck Medler of Martin; 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Miller of Gobles and Ethel Miller of Allegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dean graduated from Allegan High School in 1953. He had owned and operated Dean's Bar in Allegan for 5 years and worked at Rockwell for 30 years. His favorite pastimes were playing cards with his buddies and going to the casino to play blackjack. He had also been an avid golfer and hunter. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
