View Photo Tribute Dean A. Brindley, 78 of Allegan, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, April 22, 2004 at his home. Dean was born October 31, 1925 in Cheshire Township, MI the son of Verlin and Allyene (Kent) Brindley. He had drilled water wells throughout Allegan and VanBuren Counties and was an lifetime honorary member of the Michigan Well Drillers Association, Inc. He loved golfing at Cheshire Hills Golf Club and was a faithful attender at First Baptist Church, Allegan. He is survived and loved by his wife of 32 years, Lorraine; 3 children, Cheri & Jon Watson, Nancy Mohler, Ted & Robin Brindley; 6 grandchildren, Christy & Robert Kubon, Amy & Jon Watson, Jr., Jess & Judy Mohler, Josh & Heather Mohler, Kent Brindley, and Kate Brindley; 1 great grandson, Grant Mohler; 2 step great grandsons, Nick Parks, and Justin Parks; 3 sisters, Lila Dickerson, Joyce & John DeCrocker, and Gail Brindley; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill Godfrey, and Lewis Harnden; 2 sisters-in-law, Vivian Brindley, and Lee & Jim McWhorter; several nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor James H. Turner officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or Wings of Hope Hospice.
