age 65 of Allegan, died Monday, March 28, 2005 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Mr. Thrash was born January 19, 1940 in Chicago, IL the son of Wiley and Celia (King) Thrash. Surviving are his wife Mary, whom he married on March 3, 1961; 8 children, Shirl Hicks, David Thrash, Jr., George Thrash, Michael Thrash, James Thrash, Tyrone Thrash, Valerie Thrash, Cynthia Thrash; 25 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Emeal Thrash; 4 sisters, Marjorie Stevenson-Brown, Ann O'Bryant, Dorotha Jean Johnson, Gail Spraggins; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Leo, Richard, and Jerry; 3 sisters, Mary Ina, Virginia, and Katherine. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12 Noon at the Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ. Pastor Jeremiah Johnson officiating.
