David Wayne Payne passed on August 14, 2024, at the age of 70 in the Allegan Wings Home with his wife Teresa by his side. David was born to his late parents Wayne and Eileen (Page) Wayne on January 23, 1954, in Fort Benning, Georgia. After high school David married the love of his life Teresa (Meade) Payne on May 16, 1987, and shared 37 faithful years together. David was known for his hard work and consistency throughout his career and retirement with Roger Smith & Sons Incorporated. He loved taking trips up North with the family to Silver Lake with his custom Jeep and Dune Buggy. David could always be found hanging out in the garage with his closet friends kicking back.

Dave is survived by his wife Teresa (Meade) Payne; daughter Ashley (Tyler) Heiser; grandchildren Zoey and Ellowyn Heiser; siblings Sharon (Richard) Brown, Lisa (Bob) McNutt, Dan (Kristy) Payne, and Greg (Bradley) Payne.

Preceded in death are David's parents Wayne and Eileen (Page) Payne and brother Bruce Payne.
