Darlene Kelch of Allegan, at age 79, went home to be with the Lord on May 24 at 5:31 P.M. surrounded by her family at her home. Darlene was born on May 23, 1942 in Harlan, Kentucky. She was married to Clyde Nathan Kelch on February 16, 1962. She was a factory worker, successful businesswoman, most notably owning and operating 1st Placement Employment Group, mother, and grandmother. She was survived by her son Scott and Kathy Kelch; her daughter Tammy and Anthony Adams; her grandchildren: Lance, Sierra, Paul, Rachel, Skyler, Sydney, Alianna, Auggie, Izzy, Jo-Lee; her great grandchildren: Ariel, Abigail, Amelia, Ava, A'mora; her God child Jo-Dee Alegria; her sisters: Lucy (Ray) Ammeraal; Retta Cooper; Lena (Bud) Bradford; Charleen (Steve) Wooten; her brother Chris (Ruth) Blanton; her step siblings John Noe, David Noe, Becky Hensley; her sister-in-laws: Carol Kelch, Marie Kelch; her brother-in-law: Buford (Sandy) Kelch; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Clyde Nathan Kelch; her parents Evie Noe, and father Dennis (Dollie) Blanton; her sisters Jeanne Nichols, Bette Watson, Mae Hicks, Freda Trammell; her brothers Dee Blanton, Mac Blanton, Sammy Blanton, David Hensley; and her foster son David Clason. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 6-8:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Home, Allegan, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Redemption Place of Allegan, 1900 Lincoln Rd. Allegan, Michigan. The Reverend Nathan Strom and Rev. Dr. Anthony Adams will be officiating. A Committal at the cemetery will follow after the Funeral.
