Obituary
of Hopkins, died Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids. Mr. Smith was born February 21, 1931, in Casey, IL, the son of Eli and Fern Smith. Dana worked for Gerald Arnsman for many years, as well as the Village of Hopkins DPW for 10 years. Surviving are his brother Jim and JoAnn Smith of Hopkins, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 3 pm. at Lakeview Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. Mr. Comer Skinner will officiate. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
