Dale was born November 11, 1964, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Donald and Dolores (Short) Sanford Sr. He had worked for Mayville Engineering Corp in Byron Center. Surviving are his daughter: Ashley; 4 grandchildren: Jaimee, Cameron, J.J., Jaylynn; his mother; Dolores; his brother: Donald Jr., 4 sisters: Rebecca, Pamela, Betty Jean, and Mary; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife: Denise; his father: Donald; nephew: Cody; granddaughter: Mary Jane. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, January 6, 2014, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, from 6-8 pm. Memorials may be made to Dale's family, C/O his daughter Ashley Sanford.
