of Allegan, died Monday, February 21, 2011 at his home. Mr. Madison was born October 27, 1931, in Plainwell, the son of Russell and Frances ( Lanphear) Madison. Dale was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by H.J.Heinz in Holland for over 29 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the American Legion in Allegan. Surviving are his wife, Erma, 6 children; Bev and Pete Sudeikis of Allegan, Barb Madison of Grand Junction, Janet and Tim Patterson of Allegan, Charles Madison of Grand Junction, and Kathy and Tim Edwards of Allegan, and Theresa and Rick Brown of Allegan, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Olive and Alvin Ruthruff of Hopkins, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth, and 5 brothers; Wade, William, Herm, Ken, and Delbert, and 1 grandson, Mark. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the American Legion Hall in Allegan at 1 pm. Pastor Jim Davis will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family.
