of Allegan, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at his home. Mr. Christman was born September 4, 1914, in Kalkaska, the son of Soloman and Nellie (Bowsher) Christman. Dale loved to work with wood, he built houses, furniture and toys. He owned and operated Dale Christman Contractors, and spent a short amount of time with Imperial Carving. He also loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and traveling around the Upper Peninsula. Surviving are his 2 children, Dale Jr. and Susanna Christman and Shirley and Gene Milbocker all of Allegan, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special friend, Drew Reeves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorials may be made to the Chicora Country Chapel or Wings of Hope Hospice.
